ADF's make great aquarium pets, but fish aquariums are not always great for ADF's. We'll give you the info you won't get from aquarium experts, who know tropical fish, but little about these frogs..............

DR TOY BEST PICKS BESTOW MULTIPLE TREATS (NO TRICKS!) TO WILD CREATIONS™

Awards Go To Strength Ball , Space Hopper , Hologram Chamber & Solar Airship
Myrtle Beach, SC (October 18, 2010) – This month thoughts of tricks and treats haunt parents and children alike. Dr. Toy celebrates the zany holiday with her own treat-filled list of Best Children’s Products for the year. Lucky for Wild Creations™ she awards not one but five prestigious honors to their expanding novel product line. Giant Retro Space Hopper, Hologram Chamber, Strength Ball and Solar Airship are individually recognized for a Dr. Toy Best Picks/Best 100 Children’s Products 2010 awards .

2008_7_seal_150_pixels.gifAdditionally, the Strength Ball was also named to her Dr. Toy 10 Best Active Products list. Want a jolly good time for your kids,” asked Dr. Toy as she tested the Giant Retro Space Hopper, “while getting them off the couch and away from their handheld gadgets? Try one of Wild Creations British imports of active toys,” she offered. “Kids and parents will be very pleased at the assortment of Wild Creations intellectually stimulating science and nature toys for children & adults of all ages.”

Dr. Toy’s Best Picks Children’s Products award program was developed by noted play and childdt_head_shot.jpgdevelopment authority, Stevanne Auerbach, Ph.D. (aka Dr. Toy) as a service to consumers who desire to purchase safe, affordable, educationally oriented, stimulating new toys for children. In addition to Dr. Toy, industry judges have been wild about the 80+ kooky new products rolled out this year by Wild Creations. The company earned kudos from Tillywig Toy Awards, Parenting Media Awards, The National Parenting Center, Mom’s Choice Gold Awards and Parent Tested-Parent Approved Media on a host of products in just the last 90 days.

Listed below are reviews Dr. Toy and her testers wrote about each of the four Wild Creations award winners:

Giant Retro Space Hopper • $23.99 • Ages 10+spacehopperthumb.jpg
Dr. Toy Best Picks Children’s Products 2010
This bright orange and utterly irresistible hopper comes from the UK Science Museum. With a grownup’s help, inflate this giant ball with the enclosed foot pump. Get comfortable, hold on to the horns and bounce away! Kids use the elasticity of the space hopper to amplify their muscle power. This giant hopper expands to a whopping 31.5 inches for bigger kids.

Hologram Chamber • $8.99 • Ages 5+holothumb.jpg
Dr. Toy Best Picks Children’s Products 2010
Like something from a Harry Potter chapter, place any object in this chamber and see it appear to hover. Created by the UK Science Museum, this chamber creates an optical illusion, tricking you into thinking a reflection is the real object! Try any object and witness 3-D images appear to float.

Solar Airship • $15.99 • Ages 5+solarairshipthumb.jpg
Dr. Toy Best Picks Children’s Products 2010
On a bright sunny day take this airship kite outdoors and watch it fly. From the UK Science Museum, this cleverly designed toy doesn’t require pumps, gas, puffs or hassle! It’s so simple to use – inflates and rises outdoors due to the laws of physics, as it is easily explained in the instructions. It flies like a kite-- so hold on tightly! A tether line, 2 cable ties and controller are included.

Introducing the Keystone Classic EcoAquarium™

We've filled orders for the Keystone Classic Builders Series Kit after having them available after ONE DAY!

That's enough to press on and offer it as a complete EcoAquarium™!

Our Keystone Classic EcoAquarium is a rare third version of our EcoAquarium™ series, and will be available for only a VERY short time.

We had discontinued our Watergarden EcoAquarium late last year, when our supply of the distinctive tapered tanks ran out. But just recently, while rearranging the warehouse, one box of the tanks turned up! Since we no longer have the vases or the long-stem Lucky Bamboo to make Watergardens, PRESTO!... the Keystone Classic was born!

You won't find them in any stores, for the moment this is a WEB EXCLUSIVE!

Larger than the Classic, but still filling the same footprint, the Keystone Classic offers the best of both worlds, and with so few of them available, you can count on having a virtual one-of-a-kind EcoAquarium™. Don't wait! They are not going to last long!

New Products from Customer Requests & a Happy Discovery

Adding to our EcoAquarium Accessories are three items that we're sure will create a buzz. Introducing the EcoAquarium™ Builders Series.

After requests by our customers, we've responded by offering our popular EcoAquariums in kit form with everything EXCEPT FROGS!

We've had calls from customers wanting a second tank, or to replace a cracked tank (BAD DOG!). Now there's a easy solution with our Builder's Series. Tanks, rocks, living & decorative gravel, & Lucky Bamboo....all ready to go. Just add water and your favorite critter.

Also, for a limited time, we're offering a "new" tank... "The Keystone Classic". Up until late last year, we offered our Watergarden EcoAquarium with it's distinctive tapered tank and large Lucky Bamboo stems in a tall chimney vase. It was a popular item which sadly had to be discontinued when we ran out of the distinctive keystone-shaped tank.
Fortunately, while rearanging our warehouse, we've uncovered a box of these tanks which had been misplaced and mislabled. A very limited supply, so while they last, we will be offering our Keystone Classic, in our Builders Series. If you missed out and didn't get a Watergarden, here's your chance on getting what may be one of our most sought after EcoAquariums.

EcoAquariums arrive on About.com!

About.com Toys Guide author Kristien Ryan, in her popular blog, Kristen's Toys Blog, had this to say about our EcoAquariums...

Wild Creations Ecoquarium -
The Easiest Pets EVER! Wednesday August 18, 2010

This is such a crazy job! I got a box of live frogs in FedEx. The Wild Creations Classic Ecoquarium is a little four-inch-by-four-inch aquarium with a base and a lid. It comes with gravel, a plant, tiny food pellets and two African dwarf frogs. They're cute little frogs that stay little. (We named ours Frank and Beans.)

Twice a week you drop in four food pellets and you have to change the water every three months. That's it! It's that easy. They are very cute and fun to watch. I think it's the easiest pet around and they're perfect if your small child is nagging you for a pet.

WildCreations Receives Three Tillywig 2010 Sterling Fun Awards

Here’s two phrases you’ve probably never heard in the same sentence, “science” and “insanely fun toys!”

Until now, that is. And the actual sentence would be “Wild Creations makes insanely fun science toys!” The reason for this is that the wacked-out geniuses at Wild Creations actually think that science is a whole lot of fun. And besides the thousands of kids who love them, the judges at Tillywig are apparently also in agreement because Wild Creations just received three Tillywig 2010 Sterling Fun Awards.
In order to be selected as a Tillywig award winner, a product must be determined to have high entertainment and/or educational value. Tillywig's awards program provides retail buyers, news media, parents, and consumers with product information and reviews of superior children's products available in today's marketplace. After extensive testing, they bestowed three different awards – Sterling Fun, Brain Child and Sterling Fun -- to children’s products currently on specialty toy store shelves. (Read More)

Creative Child Magazine Awards 3 WC Toys

Awards were handed down to three toys from Wild Creations by Creative Child Magazine, who's Toy Guide is a definitive standard in the toy industry.

Creative Child Magazine's Awards Program is unique in that all products submitted are reviewed by moms, music educators and early education professionals. Products are not reviewed by any one person. They are reviewed by many people-the very people who purchase them.

Each year, a 2-day event is held in Henderson, Nevada where over a hundred guest reviewers are invited to attend our organized review event at our local convention center. All products are divided into categories and displayed at various review stations. Guest reviewers are asked to sit and review each products at one station and then move to another station and so forth and so on. This allows for each product to be given multiple reviews.

The three products offered by Wild Creations; RC Rattlesnake, Pocket Microscope & Hologram Chamber are new additions to Wild Creations product line which is geared to offering science & nature themed products.

Parents' Choice Chooses Classic EcoAquarium

Our Classic EcoAquarium is a miniature eco-system in balance and perfect for teaching children about the environment. The seen-it-all judges at the Parents’ Choice Foundation’s Spring 2010 Awards heartily agreed, giving it two green thumbs up with a revered Approved Seal.

Perfect for a child’s bedroom, the classroom or living large on the kitchen counter, the Classic EcoAquarium is a hit with kids. Each EcoAquarium

is a complete aquatic ecosystem environment that requires no additional chemicals, filters, or aeration. Simply change the water every five or six months using fresh, bottled spring water.

According to the Parents’ Choice website, only 20% of those items submitted to the Parents’ Choice Awards™ program receive a commendation in one of the six award levels! The Parents’ Choice Awards committees look for products that entertain and teach with flair, stimulate imagination and inspire creativity.

MR. DAD thinks we're alright!

The Mr. Dad Seal of Approval and the GreatDad Recommends program recognize products and services that support our mission: giving men the resources, tools, and information they need to be the fathers they want to be and that their families need them to be. We are pleased to announce that FIVE of our soon-to-be-released products have been granted their seal of approval.

Mega Bubble, giant bubble creator
Oh, come on. You've always wanted to make a bubble big enough to contain a person, haven't you? Well, now's your chance. The Mega Bubble bubble creator will let you do exactly that. The kids will have a ton of fun trying to encapsulate you, and you'll marvel at just how far an incredibly thin wall of soap film can stretch. Good, clean, entertainment for the whole family (but keep the bubbles out of everyone's mouth). Ages 3+.

Hologram Chamber
We're not quite sure what makes the Hologram Chamber quite so intriguing, but it'll definitely get everyone's attention. Drop in just about any object and ask some unsuspecting person to grab it. You and the kids will have a lot of fun trying to fool each other. And once they're in bed, you'll have even more fun on your own--trying to figure out how it works. We're still a ways away from R2D2's holographic projection of Princess Leah (from Star Wars), but it's still an amazing illusion. Ages 3+.

Radio-controlled Rattle Snake
Let's start with a warning. Be very careful who's around when you and the kids fire up this creepily accurate replica of the Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake. Even when you know what it is, you'll still be momentarily freaked out when you see it zig-z
agging around your house, tongue flickin in and out, rattling its tail. So expect to peel mom (or anyone with a heart condition) off the ceiling if you don't warn her before letting the kids loose with this baby. Ages 5+.

Buzzwire Bomb
There may be some scientific lessons to learn here, but all our reviewers could talk about was the fun aspect. The Buzzwire Bomb can be used by just about anyone in the family--especially those who like to be scared. The principle is similar to the old Operation game--but the baloon explosions happen compeltely randomly. So while a steady hand might help you in the short run, it won't keep your heart from skipping a beat when you finally get that POP!!! Ages 5 and up.

Wallace & Gromit Water Rocket
Judgment call. The Water Rocket is clearly labeled as "not a toy." But it's so much fun that you'll want to share it with the whole family. You'll need a big, empty area and a water supply. Depending on the ratio of water, pressure, launch angle, and the proximity of obstacles such as houses and windows, you can send the rocket soaring up to 200 feet! What's especially nice about the Water Rocket is that it's something dads and teens can (and will actually want to) do together--and that's a very rare thing. Definitely keep away from small children.
